The lanyard cable attaches the Lanyard handle and eye bolt. The Lanyard handle closes the swing arm and engages the adaptors ready for towing.

Remember: these are not supposed to ‘clamp’ the aircraft, refer to ‘Aircraft Adaptor Alignment Guide’ for correct installation. Over tightening will reduce service life of the cable.
